Welcome to the Groupsite for Charleston County Diabetes Coalition!

The coalition is a diverse, community driven group providing health education (diabetes, heart disease, hypertension and stroke), skill building and outreach training.  We utilize existing or create specific education materials.  In support of research activities members obtain assessments, write event reports, participate in and facilitate focus groups,  evaluations and strategic planning.

This group plans and supports community education activities designed to provide information and resources related to diabetes and improved health that are culturally appropriate.  We need all who can assist us in this effort to raise the awareness of sugar diabetes and methods to prevent or control the disease process in the communities we address, connect and serve.  This public charity manages through fundraising efforts and donations of the membership.

This site is a public meeting place that provides members of Charleston County Diabetes Coalition with a shared calendar, discussion forums, member profiles, photo gallery, file storage and more. We encourage you to upload your photo, complete your profile and participate!
